I don't care what anyone thinks

This flash is kick ass, and every time I think of it I come back to give it a 5.... I mean, it starts off slow, and does get annoying at time (hey, it's not like that was an accident).... But once the singing begins, the whole thing is like made whole... or something... Good flash, I love it...

Reminds me of those Claymation christmas specials...

Not very funny

And the voice acting sucked.... I couldn't hardly understand what was being said, and frankly didn't care... it wasn't the worst thing I've seen today... (that racist bunny video wins that prize).. but if I had any tips to give, it would be: have a point to the story.. show us something other than the motorcycle sprite going across the screen...

I think slapping a bunch of pics with text in a flash with a song doesn't make it a good flash really... I would have liked to have seen some animation, you know.. real flash...

I'll give you some credit

There aren't many people who submit flash with an actual PLOT in mind... and the fact that you took the time to storyboard it out first is apparent in the way the scenes flowed together...

I can't say the cartoon was that funny, but it WAS done in the style of the old Tex Avery Cartoons, so again, I give you credit for doing what you set out to do...

The sound quality was bad.. how bad? well, for one thing, using the default sound recorder probably wasn't a good idea... and using a plain old mic wasn't a good idea either...

The problem came from certain words and phrases that had that "popping P" sound to it... My advice would be to retool the sound a bit, make sure you record it with no annoying sound pops or crackles and then use another program to increase the volume once you've gotten it all done...or at least back off the mic a bit...

otherwise, this was a good movie, and you should definitely keep working...

I felt this one was lacking

Compared to the brilliance of some of the earlier animutations, I think this one definitely falls short. First off, one of the ways the other songs were so damn funny is that it was in a foreign language, and yet, snippets of the song had to be able to sound LIKE english...

This song might have had a few small parts like that, but you had to strain to listen to it... That detracted from my enjoyment of the piece..

Then we come to the previous reviewers comments... There's nothing wrong with following rules... It's just that much as he stated, most of the images weren't that funny... and as one friend of mine said, it was even a little scary...

I would be much more picky about which songs I used (if I had the time and inclination to try an animutation)... I should hope in the future you'll find many more funny songs to make fun of :)

Turd of the Week? Maybe not that bad

It's certainly no masterpiece... But I give them credit for one thing.. finding a wacked out song to play... I think the reason this got the poor votes is most people were offended by the use of Former President Reagan's Image (probably by someone who doesn't even remember him)...

My rating is a 2 overall out of 10 because there wasn't really much animation talent necessary to pull it off...the joke was minorly amusing but not worth the wait... and in the end, the only redeeming factor was the music.. and even THAT wasn't that great...

I've seen far worse and far more deserving of the title of "turd of the week"... but I guess this was a relatively good week for animation :P

The other stuff was well... funny for a few seconds.. this one was one big tease for 2 seconds of crap... I think Bruce Willis on Fire was your best... please... think of the kids.. where will they go to test for epileptic seizures if you don't work harder?

I couldn't understand hardly anything other than what the chick was saying... what I COULD understand wasn't that funny... and overall I just felt it was lacking substance... I mean... she's going shopping for glasses, and The squirrel bleeds from his eyes... so what? Might as well have done a "my anus is bleeding" segment too... could have gotten at least one laugh...

Considering the file size

that was an amazing piece of work.. You included the whole song, did a little animation for each character, even sorta tried to stay with the "Story" of the original song...

While that particular version isn't my favorite version of the song, I did like the song...My only complaint is that there really wasn't enough action... and a few times I had to wonder what exactly was going on (I would have rated it higher except for that fact).

Still, for 337k, I'm a lot more forgiving of flaws than if it had been 4931K and the same movie...

I'm not a huge clock crew fan, but this one is decent... for the record, I'm not a big Lock fan either... Cheesy voice synthesis gets old after a while, and no "face" except for a clock or a keyhole gets REALLY old after a while...but that's neither here nor there...

Keep up the good work, and most importantly.. Action dude... It's not enough to see some blobs shaking around to music....

You aren't retiring... just giving up on working on this piece any longer... (*bad choice in words unless you really are giving up making flash*)...

I have to say, that I only just recently found your work on the net and after making my way back to your site I have been very impressed with the stuff you've done... (Yeah, like that means anything coming from a nobody)...

While this is an unfinished work, the parts you did have up looked great, showed a definite style to it that makes it easy to distinguish your work from any "lookalike" flashes out there...

I have to say (and a little embarassed to say it) that I actually liked this song...the words were annoying, and I mentally blocked it out, but the music was cool, and I luckily didn't hear it 475 thousand times a week like some people out there did...

I'm going through the stuff on your website and giving your work some well deserved 4's and 5's. Keep it up... Unless you retire... then you suck :P hehe
